I am talking today about what got me into blogging and more into doing something I love – using social media networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Linked In.

I have been lucky enough that my company, Cultural Care AuPair, offered me the opportunity to take Ann Evanston’s Social Networking Coaching Club bootcamp. This course has changed my life and has enabled me to break free of the constraints of living in a fairly remote area and of a dislike of ‘sales’.

The course has taught me how I can build relationships online and that that can eventually grow my business and also find some great friends along the way. Through this I hope I know I will  find many families for whom hosting an AuPair is a great option for childcare.

I hope that some of you will be inspired to take a a look at Ann’s bootcamp and not miss out on this great opportunity to get a lifetime membership for half the price it normally costs. I know I plan on becoming a lifetime member and I have also become an affiliate because I believe in Ann’s coaching so deeply.

Are you inspired to take a look? What do you think? Have you already taken Ann’s bootcamp and if so would you like to  share your experiences to add to mine?

All I’m hearing right now is BlogHer this, BlogHer that and EVERYONE seems to be going to BlogHer 2010. I’m so new to blogging (4 weeks) that I hadn’t even heard of BlogHer before and still know little or nothing about it except that EVERYONE (yes EVERYONE!!!!) is going but me.

Well, okay, not quite true – there’s a little group of lovely bloggers that I have met who AREN’T going to BlogHer and are doing Blog Hop instead. I was invited by my lovely new bloggy friend NewBreedofMom who I did a recent guest post for recently. Join us if you like. This is virtual BlogHer – well kind of :)))

This is not what I planned for my second blog post but I’m extremely excited so am going to go with the flow and talk about this.

For the last few weeks I have been throwing myself into a social media coaching club which my very forward thinking company Cultural Care AuPair is giving us the opportunity to take as they see the future of viral marketing.

This Coaching Club is run by Ann Evanston and she is teaching us how to use social media to grow our business the right way. I have found Ann to be inspirational and one of the main things I am learning from Ann is to be a go giver in social media. This means engaging with people, commenting, liking and just generally being open and friendly on social media. those of you that have known me for a while will know that I don’t find that concept very difficult as I get told I spend too much time on facebook often enough 😀

Well, needless to say, I have taken Ann at her word and I’m liked all her business pages on facebook, follow her on twitter etc etc. I comment and like everything that’s interesting at all to me by all my friends and I have started blogging and commenting and following other people’s blogs. And I can highly recommend all you bloggers out there click on that link and join in with Blogger Monday with Ann Evanston.

Every Friday Ann announces a fan of the week (based on commenting, liking etc) on her business page; Warrior-Preneur and I am honored and excited to be chosen as this week’s fan of the week – eek!

We recorded a podcast interview yesterday which you can listen to here and also I answered a few questions in writing which will be on her website blog. Ann will also be putting this out on facebook and twitter throughout the week which will hopefully bring me more friends and followers and one day more referrals and business – but the relationships are the fun bit for me 🙂

Anyway, I hope you’ll take the time to look at and listen to my interview and tell me what you think – I’d love to hear your comments!
